Dan Christman Biography From 1984 to 1997 Dan worked as a Medicolegal Death Investigator in both Idaho and Washington. He has investigated more than three thousand death scenes, and developed his expertise in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Crime scene Reconstruction. An independent consultant since 1995 and a commissioned police officer since 1997, Dan has continued to investigate, review and advise on violent crime cases for the prosecution, defense, and third party clients. Dan has been writing for, and regularly teaching to law enforcement, criminal investigators and attorneys since 1988. In 1998 he became an adjunct instructor in Criminal Investigations at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC), and in 2001 was certified as a Professional Lecturer in Criminal Investigatons by the Washington State CJTC. Dan earned his Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Boise State University, and an Associate of Arts Degree in the Adminsitration of Crimial Justice from Bellevue Community College, in Washington State. He is also a graduate of the Math and Physics in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis Course, sponsored by the RCMP and Carleton University in Toronto, Canada. In addition, Dan has completed more than 400 course hours of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, and 200 hours of crime scene analysis and reconstruction education.
